macOS10.14 + Anaconda3 + Python 3.7 安装Caffe框架
2019更新:这是一篇踩坑实录,目前建议大家使用 PyTorch 作为深度学习框架。
写在前面
捣鼓了一周左右,总算是装好了Caffe。这个过程中,在网上看了很多教程,更重要的是请教了一位装过的同学——他为我提供了很多帮助,我特别感谢他。
总的来说,这真是一次曲折而痛苦的经历。无论如何,记录一下这次安装过程,但愿后面装 Caffe 的各位童鞋少走一些弯路。(2018.12注:建议现在要使用 Caffe 的童鞋直接用 Docker,哈哈)
废话少说,安装整体分为三个过程,即
- 安装依赖
- 编译 Caffe
- 编译 Caffe 的 Python 接口
##安装环境
- macOS 10.14 Mojave
- Homebrew
- Anaconda 3
- Python 3.7
- openBLAS
- CPU_ONLY 模式
安装依赖
首先确定安装了 Anaconda 和 Homebrew,安装方法不再赘述。 打开Terminal,使用 Brew 安装依赖。
$ brew install --fresh -vd snappy leveldb gflags glog szip lmdb opencv hdf5 openblas
# brew install --build-from-source --with-python --fresh -vd protobuf
$ brew install --build-from-source --fresh -vd boost boost-python3
关于 protobuf:
如果使用 brew install 会默认安装最新版本,但由于protobuf 3.6.0 之后的版本需要C++ 11,会导致编译caffe时失败。
所以需要去 Github 上下一个老版本,在 https://github.com/google/protobuf,我下载的是3.5.1。找到自己需要的版本,下载protobuf-3.5.1.zip后解压。
$ cd /Users/Piddnad/Downloads/protobuf-3.5.1
$ ./configure
$ make
$ make check
$ make install
这样就可以安装成功了,在终端 protoc –version 可以检验是否安装成功。
编译 Caffe
先从 Github 克隆 Caffe 源代码。
$ git clone https://github.com/BVLC/caffe.git
$ cd caffe
$ cp Makefile.config.example Makefile.config
接下来,编辑编译配置文件 Makefile.config.example,并保存为 Makefile.config。
以下是我的配置,需要修改的位置已在注释中标注。

随后,在 caffe 目录执行
$ make clean
$ make all -j8 #(数字表示线程数量,可以根据你的硬件配置增加或减少)
$ make test -j8
$ make runtest
$ make pycaffe
$ make pytest
错误解决

make all 时一堆错误,错误出在文件名带 protobuf 的文件
protobuf 版本问题,需要安装3.6.0以下版本,具体参考前文。

make pycaffe 时错误,提示library not found fpr -lboost_python
将配置文件84行
PYTHON_LIBRARIES := boost_python3 python3.7m
改为
PYTHON_LIBRARIES := boost_python37 python3.7m

make pytest 出错
